UN-Paid Comedians

My kids continue to amaze me with the things they do and say. They are perfect comedians and they aren't even trying.

The other day i was feeding all the kids i babysit and my two also. I use some plates I got at walmart and they are divided. I dont usually pay attention to which color I give to each child. Gabriel was about halfway through his meal when he noticed he was eating out of a pink plate. He told me "I don't want this Lady plate." It took me a minute to figure out exactly what he was talking about. Then, a day or two later I came home with some chocolate covered strawberry ice cream from blue bell. It comes in a pink container. He told me he wanted some of that Lady ice cream. It's so funny that he associates pink with a lady. I've never told him anything about that and he even has a couple pink shirts.

Then, Zoe. She was MIA one day for about 10 min. We were at my sis-in-law's house. Her husband, Tim, found her in the closet with an orange crayola marker. She loves to write and she usually is good about staying on the paper, but with a lack of paper I guess she decided to write on herself. When he brought her out she said, "Look, mama, look. Pretty, Mama." LOL. How can you fuss her for that. Afterall she was just getting creative.

An interesting post from my Bro-In-Law.

click here for a good read

I'm not a big one for politics. Its mostly about who can tell the bigger lie and who has the most money and all that jazz but i must say i do not like the idea of Obama as the next pres.

As a christian, I dont think i could ever vote for this man. Not that i'm super interested in his opponent. I'm just not interested in him. He doesnt seem like the nicest guy.

Ten things you love but may never say aloud.

A just for fun post. I noticed how much i love swinging my ponytail back and forth so i decided to blog about it. LOL.

I Love...

1. To swing my ponytail when i walk.

2. Help name people's children.

3. Dance when no one is home.

4. Smell babies.

5. Try to comfort a baby when someone else cant.

6. Roll around in my computer chair.

7. It when bad people become good.

8. Feeding or cooking for people.

9. Being crafty.

10. Saftey pins.

Tag a couple of people and enjoy

Floored!!!

How many times can you sweep your floor and then look forward to doing it again? I truly love taking care of my family. I do. Promise. But, do I have to enjoy picking up every crumb i step on on my floor. I hate cleaning my floors. I'd rather have a maid to do it. I dont mind dishes, but only because i have a dishwasher and washing clothes is fine until i have to fold them. I don't mind picking up my children's toys and cleaning their room, except for the blocks. My room is another story. I think my hubby and i are completely ok with letting our clothes lie where they may and just never cleaning in there. So here is the meaning of this blog. Name something you'd rather write a blog about than do.

I'd much rather blog than clean my floors. Which needs to be done right now.

A beautiful Story

Issac
This is a blog i found that has totally touched my heart. I don't know how i could handle losing a baby in such a way. I truly admire Stacy and her husband. They are stronger than I can say. This link is for a slideshow of Issac's sweet life. As short as it was it was still very powerful. Stacy has a strong heart and I see God in her life. I pray that God will see her through this struggle. God bless this family.

Birthday Girl

Today was Lauren's b-day. One of the one's I babysit. So, her momma brought cupcakes. So of course we had to take pictures. Then, each child had to have a candle in their cupcake. It is so cute that they are friends and they are so little. Raylan and Zoe actually play together on purpose. Its so cute. They get their little purses and walk around together and they give each other high 5's.
I took a birthday picture of Lauren. Two years old today. Gabriel and Zoe had to have theirs done too.
I had a busy day. I painted two name plaques. Well one was actually a bow holder for Lauren. I baked a cake for Bunko tonight.(a totally awesome game. I'll blog about it later) Edited pics and printed them out for the mom's. Did a load of dishes, took a bath, had two small birthday parties(breakfast and snack time. All this with 5 kids running around my house. Thats about all.

Sunday's Best

Gabriel and Zoe ready for church one sunday morning. Gabriel said he had to have his tie out because he couldn't walk with it tucked in. lol.
This dress was a great flea market find. I love shopping second hand. Ebay and flea markets are where i find my best deals on expensive dresses and shoes!! My grandmother, Mawmaw Irene, found this at a thrift store for $10 and she couldn't resist. Zoe was so excited. All day long she would pat on her dress and say MawMaw, MawMaw!! I loved it. So cute and pretty for a sunday dress.

The next week MawMaw brought Zoe some new earings and she did the same thing all day with a couple added words. MawMaw gave that! LOL.

All Star Lunch

I enjoy lunch time with all the children. But, unfortunately, my kids never eat as good as the ones i babysit. So i tried to get creative. Make it a fun lunch. Gabriel and Zoe never want to eat a sandwich the correct way. They like to open it up and eat just the meat and cheese and sometimes the bread. But today Gabriel (not Zoe) learned to correct way to eat a sandwich. He was so excited that he was eating a star sandwich.

These were made just like a regular sandwich and then i used a star cookie cutter. I saved the leftovers and let them eat the meat that was cut off.

They also love having a picnic outside. But is was kinda damp so we were under the garage.

Pregnancy

I was looking at some old pics and i found these so i thought i'd blog about them.

I truly loved being pregnant. I loved everything about it. It was such a wonderful amazing thing. God is so real. Only a loving God can create things with such wonder. I loved the feeling of a life being inside of me. I loved the cravings, the beauty it brings to a mother, the clothes, the anticipation. Both of my babies were tiny so i didnt get too big. but i wanted to.

Gabriel Everett Chi weighed 4.2 oz. He was a miracle baby. He was shrinking inside me because i had lost all of my amniotic fluid. How? No Clue. It just dissappeared. Had to have an emergency c-section. Where i was told he may or may not make it. But, glory to God, he did.
Zoe Christabelle was such a beauty!! She came in a much calmer way. We had a scheduled date in which we drove to the hospital and she was taken out of me. I love the sound of a fairly quiet room and then a child is born and it is no longer quiet. Lol.

Oh Sweet Nap Time!

Okay, I babysit 4 kids and i have 2 of my own. Needless to say, nap time is one of the high points in my day. LOL. I actually get to eat and do whatever i want!! (Sometimes)

Most of them are on the same schedule, but i have a 3 month old that i watch and she is on her own schedule. But, she is a good baby. Age wise i have Gabriel, 2 3/4 ; Lauren, 2; Zoe, 1 3/4; Raylan, 1 1/2; Jace, 1; and Morgan 3m. WOW.

I love nap time!
