Gabe's first football practice

Okay, no i dont have pics...they told me they weren't really gonna practice. Just do uniforms. He was so cute though. A little nervous. And he had run fever a little that day. He is the littlest one on the team. They dont make cleats in his size. His team name is LSU. Picked out by his teammates. He wanted to be the cowboys. He is #1. He picked his own number. He is ready to get his uniform.
The coach put him on the front line of offense. They said he was gonna be their secret weapon and he would have to make a touchdown sometime this year. LOL.
Joel had to stand on side with him until he got his courage up and while Gabe was running with the team he looked back at Joel and grinned. And Joel said he wished he could frame that forever. It was all worth it just for that smile. LOL. My little boy is such a cute one! Pictures to come. I PROMISE.

Zoe starts dancing next tuesday. So her post is to come.

Erika this is for you!! I havent been on here in forever. Forgot about it actually.

The Lake Charles Children's Museum

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours at this awesome place. It was very fun for my kiddos....and the adults. He He. We had a blast. Gabriel and Zoe were zooming everywhere. There were in hypermode. Its like there was so much to do they had to try hard to focus on only one thing at a time. This was Joels first time at a children's museum too so he very much loved it. These places amazing. They have tons of fun and interesting things to do. I had been to the one in New Orleans and they are very similar.

This is the highest we got this bubble. The kids kept popping it.

Gabe was singing "Jesus Loves me" and he drew a crowd. Then when he realized he was being watched he dropped the mic and it made a loud boom. He said "They got me scared"

They got to be on TV so they were watching themselves.
They do have other clothes. I know the last two posts have my kids in the same outfits. lol

Deluge 6 Conference in Baton Rouge

Joel and I went to an AWESOME conference in Baton Rouge at Bethany World Prayer Center. It was the Deluge 6 conference. They have an awesome worhip team. It was full of God's presence. The preaching was awesome. The worship was awesome. It was really great. But where was I?? Outside on the playground with my loud ones. Zoe looks bigger in these pictures. But they are actually the same size but the way the sun was shining and the way that they were standing it makes her look huge and him tiny

They weren't being really bad or anything. They were just being kids. And you try to get a 2 and 3 yr old to sit down quietly for 3 hours straight. (we had to be there way early because of the traffic and tons of people). And you know how it is when you are sitting by people you dont know, my kids weren't bothering me but they may have been bothering those sitting around us.

I had brought a ton of things for them to do, coloring books, blocks, snacks, barbies, books, etc. And it worked but they went through it all in like 25 minutes. Soooo, instead Joel got his cup filled and I got great pictures.

Making Louisiana Snow Angels.

New Hair!!

I got Zoe's tail cut off. Her hair is in a little bob now. I just love it. I loved it so much i cut mine.

I made this dress for her! I love it. It was so easy i made 3 more. I've really been into sewing. I'm about to go sew right now!

I totally cut all my hair off!! My sides are a little longer than my back. So, I got about 6 inches off my sides and about 8 off my back.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

A classic Brenden Frasier movie of course. Why are all of his movies so cheesy. Is he locked in a cheesy contract that makes him say yes to all the cheesy movies? And why does he always go from being a dork to being the hero? Well anyway...we got this in on Netflix yesterday. It was entertaining. Not something I'd choose to watch again. But my 2 & 3 yr. old. thoroughly enjoyed it. They watched the whole thing with us. They kept asking where Trevor went (B.Frasier) and Sean and Nanna (the other two Main Characters. The girl's name was either hanna or anna) So this would definitely be the first hour long movie they sat through. They stood up and hooped and cheered along with it. It was so cute.
This morning when i got up i put the movie back in the Netflix envelope and put it in the mailbox. Then, much to my astonishment, Gabriel and Zoe began asking for Trevor and Nanna this morning. They wanted to watch it again. I said no, lets just watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They objected and continued to object. So, I went got it out of the mailbox for them. This time they didn't last the whole movie. But they were very excited. LOL. So Brendan Frasier still has the younger crowds attention.

Declawing and Castrating, AHHHHH!!!!

Having an inside cat is EXPENSIVE. To declaw and castrate it will cost $150. WOW. I always wondered why people bought cats from petsmart for like 60bucks. But i totally understand now. Because they come with these two procedures done already.

I told Gabe and Zoe about Lollipop having to go to the Dr. to get his claws out. I didnt explaine the other procedure. Gabe asked if Lollipop can get his teeth out too so he cant bite. Then he went on and asked if he(Gabriel) can get his legs cut off so Lollipop cant scratch him anymore. LOL.

We have a LOLLIPOP!!!

YEA!!! my husband finally allowed me to have an inside pet. (one of my lifelong dreams) Someone had a stray cat that showed up at their beauty shop and they were looking for someone to take it in. Well i pleaded my case to my husband. He was dead set on it not being inside. He said i can go get it as long as it stays outside. Well as soon as i brought it in the house i'm guessing his heart melted or something. The kids loved it. And that nite at 9pm i was running to walmart for cat food and kitty litter.
We decided to call HER, Lollipop. The people that gave HER to us said She was a girl. We never even checked. So when I brought HER to the vet the lady picked HER up and said "You mean, HE." So here we are with a tiger striped boy cat named Lollipop. Poor cat. I tried to get the kids to change HIS name and Gabe's only suggestion was "CarSeat". So i guess this BOY cat will always be Lollipop.

Lollipop's story....My friend Mary saw this same kitten crossing the railroad tracks (which means it came across a 4 lane hwy). She wanted to stop and get it but she didnt think her hubby would let her. So instead she prayed that God would take care of the cat. Then my friend Jane said it showed up outside of her office. Then it went down the street a ways and ended up at a beauty shop. One hairdresser was gonna keep him then changed her mind. Then another took it home and couldnt keep it cuz her apartment doesn't allow pets. So she called Ashlee, our pastor's daughter. Ashlee was standing beside me at chruch when she got the call and immediately asked if i wanted it. So, if we do change Lollipop's name i think it should be Miracle.
